Please keep in mind that not everyone’s body responds to laser tattoo removal the exact same way. Some people require more sessions than others.
With that said, repeated sessions and time will often lead to complete removal of your tattoo.
Also, please note, immediately after the first session “crusting” takes place in which the area hit by the laser becomes white (caused by vapors being released in the skin) and it appears that the ink is gone. This goes away and the ink will again be seen. It takes 2-3 weeks after the session to start seeing the tattoo fade as your body starts to filter out the broken down ink. Older tattoos fade faster/more easily than newer ones. Also, the amount of ink in the tattoo and how deep it was put it is a strong factor when it comes to the number of sessions you will need. Finer line/shading comes out quicker than thick black tribal for instance. Some tattooists really pack in the ink and/or go over the lines twice which leads to a more challenging tattoo to remove. Some tattoos might hardly appear changed after only one session as they might end up taking 10-14 sessions to be removed while others might fade 80% after one session and might be completely gone in 3 or 4 sessions. We try to address these things in the consultation process.
Please check back for more pictures in the future as we update..
Below there are also examples posted of fades and cover-ups. Fading a tattoo for a cover-up will take significantly less sessions than a full removing the tattoo.
